Trying to tackle the myriad of options and the pile of paperwork associated with applying for any one of these programs can quickly become a nightmare.
Frustrated and overwhelmed, many people will want to give up―but don’t. Even before the going gets tough, you can turn to our team of experts to fight alongside you every step of the way.
Student Loan Service
What exactly is it that we do? Student Loan Service provides college graduates – freshly minted and long-time alumni alike – document processing services that help find the best Department of Education student loan repayment program to fit their needs. We gather all of the necessary information, process the data, and submit the application to the DOE for you. Handing over all of the dirty work helps avoid delays – or worse, rejection – of your request and puts you on the fast track for some much needed relief.
How It Works
There are two types of services from which to choose: Basic Preparation and Extended Preparation.
With Basic Preparation, Student Loan Service gathers all of the vital information from you and submits it to the Department of Education on your behalf. The DOE has a typical wait time, which can seem like an eternity, so getting the signed documentation in to us as quickly as possible will help expedite the request.
Extended Preparation is the more popular of the two services. It includes all of the features of Basic Preparation with the addition of allowing Student Loan Service to act as liaison between you and the Department of Education.
By signing a Power of Attorney, you allow us to speak directly with the DOE any time details concerning your student loans change – such as a changes in consolidation programs, date of debit, deferral or skipping payments, and/or annual re-approval for consolidation programs. Because these programs offered by the DOE are based on family income, size, and debt, a reevaluation of your qualifications might have you placed within a different consolidation tier without your knowing. Student Loan Service will monitor your loan status and act immediately to keep you right where you need to be.
Where to Start
Before getting started, be sure to collect all of the pertinent information regarding your loans. Your Student Loan Service adviser will need to ask you the approximate total amount of all of your student loans, the total monthly payments you make each month, and the interest rates on each of your loans.
Once you are ready, simply visit www.studentloanservice.us. Give us your name, email address and phone number so we can reach you, and one of our advisers will be in contact with you shortly to discuss some of the options available for you. Or, if you prefer, you can call us directly at 877-927-6859. Either way, you’ll be speaking directly to a live human being on the other end of the line – we’re not robots, and we care very much about helping you.
